THE ART OF

My Journey Began...

I am a photorealistic pyrography artist. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Arts and Art History from San Francisco State University in 2013. I began in the traditional mediums of oil painting, charcoal, graphite and watercolor. In 2015 I was challenged to find a new form of expressing the images and thoughts in my head.  I began the Ember Series for the Dia De Los Muertos Exhibit at SomArts, San Francisco.  It was directed by the late Rene Yanez at the time and he inspired me to cultivate this new skill.  And so my adventure in pyrography began...
